Maurice Saatchi, Baron Saatchi, born June 21, 1946 is the co-founder of advertising agencies Saatchi and Saatchi and M&C Saatchi .

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, to Sephardic Jewish parents, he is the brother of Charles Saatchi. In 2003 he was appointed joint chairman of the Conservative Party (along with Liam Fox) with responsibility for running the party machine.

He is also chairman of Finsbury Foods plc , and is a Governor of the London School of Economics where he was educated. He is a trustee of Apsley House Trust and the Museum of Garden History. He is a director of the Centre for Policy Studies.

He is number 305 in the Sunday Times Rich List 2004.

Saatchi is married to novelist Josephine Hart (Damage).
